Meet The Family Behind Our Business
Owner Robert Biscardi has always been passionate about serving his community.
In 1995, he started his career as a New York City Fire Department firefighter. After ten years of dedicated service, Robert expanded his horizons to pursue new ways to enhance his community through employment opportunities and service while laying a strong foundation for his future family.
With that in mind, Robert retired from the fire department and put all his time and energy into growing his electrical company, Sun Electric Works, Inc. (formed in 2002). That same year, he married the love of his life, Margie, who also works in the family business.
It didn’t take long for this master electrician to grow his small business into a well-known electrical contracting company. In 2006, the Biscardis moved their business to sunny South Florida in pursuit of the warmth and sunshine it’s famous for — giving new meaning to the company name.
In 2009, he started the full-service generator division Reliable Power Systems as another way to serve the residents of South Florida. And in 2012, Sun Electric Works, Inc. was rebranded to Reliable Electrical Services.
When Robert is not hard at work spearheading and developing his company, he spends time with his wife, his two sons, and Baci, the family beagle.
